Legislation underway to licence money transfer agencies in Guyana

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (GINA): In an effort to ensure money transfer or remittance agencies in Guyana are properly licenced and supervised, Minister of Finance Dr Ashni Singh has tabled legislation to establish a regulatory framework to govern the operations of such agencies.
