Hangover Emotional

I've seen people go on and on in an emotional state until they've used up all their energy that they fall asleep. Next day they sleep all day just like a hangover.

Emotional Hangover Health & Special Psychology

Given how I am an introvert, if still social to a degree that has surprised me at times, I have very much come to understand how emotional events or times of high emotion or social interaction drains me.

As such, I can actually understand how "Emotion-evoking stimuli" first would remember it better, as I have seen that later in the day or as my alertness goes down I remember things less clearly.

All in all, I hope they continue such studies.

Hangover Emotional

I am much more of an introvert than my wife, and I know we both experience emotional hangovers, though to different degrees. She will get really excited and emotional over something her friends do, or hanging out with her friends all day and then be worn out and emotionally drained that night or the next day. For me even just seeing my friends or putting myself out there for a conference or something can completely drain me and I'll have to rest all weekend to feel like I can handle more emotional stimulation.

Hangover Emotional

I frustrated my parents that I tended to go straight down into my room on getting home from school and later work, with them never understanding that I want to be alone after socializing with so many people

As an introvert, such is exhausting. Even getting home from being on calls leaves me want to hide and keep to myself on getting home. To lay in bed and relax, yet for those who are not introverts, they simply don't understand.
