Fairy tales form the basis for many children to grow into reading and fantasy. Which for you was the best fairy tale you ever read?

Tale Fairy Best

There are in my eyes many great Fairy Tales, ones that should be appreciated for what they are. Admittedly I have seen authors really expand upon a fairy tale and ways that actually work very well.

One that I can think of at the moment is East of the Sun and West of the Moon, of which the author by the name of Edith Pattou who expanded into the novel East into a downright amazing adventure very true to the fairytale.
