Megaupload
WELLINGTON, New Zealand - With 150 million registered users, about 50 million hits daily and endorsements from music superstars, Megaupload.com was among the world's biggest file-sharing sites. Big enough, according to a U.S. Indictment, that it earned founder Kim Dotcom $42 million last year alone. Ref. USAToday: Source 7
I'm not surprised, I expect to see most of these P2P and file sharing type sites closed eventually with all the law officials taking a closer look at online piracy.
FBI claims Megaupload based in Auckland mansion

If he had all that already in place it means he was either living in fear or he knew this day would come because of what he was doing. Making millions off of other people's hard work is no way to get your income. Who else will be next?
