Raivin is a tall man who stands around six feet, seven inches. He has a powerful build and brown skin. His appearance is rough, with scars from many battles. Raivin is a member of the home guard, and has watched over Novan as he grew up. While helping him train, they became good friends, a friendship that lasted to even this day. Raivin decided it was time to help out Novan and gave up his normal position to become his adviser. He has the feeling Novan will go far, and hopes he won't forget him in the years ahead, so he uses this opportunity to keep an important status. Novan has always respected Raivin and is willing to listen to the advice the man offers. He decided to take Raivin on after their last meeting in the town tavern, and Novan has High hopes that Raivin's experiences as a captain will help him as he continues down his path.
