Quanin Introduction

Hey there. This is my first ever strictly writing community, so I'm probably going to fall flat on my face within the first 2 weeks but I'll try not to pull anyone else down with me. I signed up with this community with the primary goal of playing RoK, but am more than open to the idea of possibly dipping my toes in to some of the other threads where I can.

I'm a huge Role-playing Game enthusiast, though mostly of the online variety--I've played and administered a few strictly roleplaying MUDs, and have participated in several web, email and even IRC (Internet Relay Chat) games in my time. I'm a recent college graduate from a computer systems technician program in Canada. Aside from that, my interests are varied from current events/politics, to role playing, to casual writing, to several types of music, and anything else that crosses my mind. I'm hoping I can use this community, and RoK in particular, as an escape from the post-college job search.
