New Lightning Fast Search

The previous Threads about Searching covered the default Search feature of this site, however we have implemented a new external Search feature which replaces the old for most things and best of all it delivers lightning fast results.

The option is now more handy by showing at the top right of every page rather than the bottom. Search is available for both Members and Guests without any delays as it previously had.

Enhanced Search

Then new enhanced Search better recognizes words you input. For instance, if you try to search "Run" It will also look for close variants like "Runs", "Running", etc. Additionally, if your spelling is badly off it will offer some limited suggestions.

This Search is 300% faster than our Community Search and will be the default for most Searches save for options like "What's New" And Board Index Searches.

In order to make the header more slimline we made a shorter Search field. The Search script works better with less words and this might also encourage that although the main purpose for the downsize was space.
