Charles Hatfield - The Rainmaker

Did this man make it rain in San Diego?

San Diego history records Charles Hatfield as the “rainmaker” that filled Lake Morena by using a chemical concoction to coax rain from the sky. But did he really contribute to the county’s record rainfall in January 1916? Questions persist a century later. Ref. Source 5n
