Ancient signals from the early universe

For the first time, theoretical physicists have calculated the signal of specific gravitational wave sources that emerged fractions of a second after the Big Bang. The source of the signal is a long-lost cosmological phenomenon called 'oscillon.' Ref. Source 1z.

I am not convinced that these detected waves are from the big bang. I think they may reading the waves from other things that we have yet to discover. I will hold off judgment on this as I look into it more. I hope that we can prove more on the theory of the big bang.
