I know it helps with blood pressure. Since my father has started eating it, his levels have been more normal consistently.
I can definitely see who it can have such benefits. Though did not know people ate oatmeal anymore, I have never had it myself and don't know anyone that eats it. To me it had always been something used to eat years ago or something I had read about characters eating in books.
Huh, now that is odd. Though maybe this is just because my family, and my grandmother, away had oatmeal on hand. Even if ti was the instant stuff in the single serve packages… Even if I normally had like two instead of just one in a bowl. Maybe it also matter where you live.

It might be where I live, it is a lot more common for people to eat either store bought cereal for breakfast or eggs and bacon type stuff. But as a lot of people I know owns chickens and pigs that makes sense. I had a conversation with someone else recently and it was the first time I ever realized people still actually eat oatmeal.
