Can You Define Free Will?
If you can define "Free Will" then please do so in your reply to this Thread.
Free will in the purest form for me is wanting to do something and doing it without fear of hinderance. Politically, I feel free will is only as good as what the majority (law) enables you to act. Most times it seems you are only able to act free so long as it does not disturb the next person.
I think free will extends beyond the laws of politics and morality. As my boss says, you can do what ever you want, as long as you are willing to accept the consequences. Free will is not the same as freedom, as in you can choose to do what ever it is you choose, no matter what happens, you always have the free will to choose what your actions will be. If you have two options given, do what your told or die, you still have free will and can choose either.
