Senior federal officials today pledged their support of President Barack Obama's directive to increase the hiring of military veterans.

Veterans Hiring Support Pledge Officials Federal
I find this very interesting because in the past eight years I have applied for some federal jobs. I never got hired and many veterans I know never got hired. On federal applications if you are a veteran you are supposed to be placed ahead of regular civilians. IF you area disabled veteran you are to be placed in front of the regular veterans. But I see many regular civilians hired when I know there were qualified veterans who applied for those jobs. Seems like this was just a bunch of horse manure.
