Loungelizard Introduction

I am here in part to relive a portion of my life left behind a score or more years ago. I have played in many Role-playing Games and have numerous roles within them all. I have created my own worlds in the heyday of MUD's back when we had BBS systems on 300-baud modems before there were internets. I've been a Dungeon Master for many groups while in High School and early college during the time before Belushi and Toga Parties but never cared to go down the path of painting tiny figurines, opting to use my minds eye to visualize my characters and NPCs. I recall the early days of Hexx and Star Trek on the mainframe, then on to the Commodore Vic 20 and the 64, playing the entire Zork series and having a wonderful time with the Hitchhiker's Guide solving the puzzles within them all - pure interactive text adventures, every one.

I recall one year in college where I had three walls covered in contractor's graph paper of my own creation world, I called Crimwald (Long before someone stole the moniker in WoW, *shakes me head*) - complete with a dozen castles (All multi-layered and meticulously mapped), an underworld interlinking dungeons and caves, and an interesting populace that changed as I matured. All this was generated eventually online in a PKMUD that even had a Smurf village. Ah yes, those were the days… I wonder what ever happened to all that paper I had rolled up and put in shipping tubes between the many moves and venue changes made in life.

I am here to spend some time to entertain myself and build a character, to engage with the community and test my skills with what y'all have evolved into during my hiatus. I hope to have some fun…
