This is just another example of how kids in school are still bullies and will go out of their way to try and hurt others who are different. Who cares if a person is over weight. Maybe there is a reason that is beyond their control. What right does anyone have to make sun of a person for their weight, sex, hair color, clothes they wear, religion, or any number of other things. The bullying needs to stop if we ever plan on having a peaceful society. I know first hand how it feels to be bullied. I am sorry he felt that he needed to get revenge because that is not always the route to go.

I agree with you both. Revenge is probably a bad reason to lose weight. I guess it's working for him though. That he has to do this because some kids are cruel is too bad. I was the new kid when my dad retired from the USMC and moved back to NJ. What was worse is that I was darker because of my Sicilian mom and Greek dad. And I had a funny last name. Crimes to be punished for when a child. I caught it bad for the first six or seven years I was there, until I got bigger and stronger and learned to hold my own in a fight, even against two others. Things changed for me then but they never should have had to and I never bullied anyone because of how I was treated and would stand up for those who were bullied. That may even be why I chose the military as my first profession.
