I can see a conspiracy developing *wink* One player could keep making accounts and upgrading to get more characters to back the first one up. That might be something to watch.

I still have only one character and I plan only having one character. I am happy with this one character and am not looking to find ways to increase my social standing through trickery.

Actually, the reason this was introduced is to enable Player to keep sentimental Characters and / or see what it is like to play a Character taking a different path. I do not want Players to feel bad because they have chosen the Multiple Character option. It is a legal aspect in the game and ironically needs twice the effort from a Player because now you have to maintain two Characters.

Hello,

I was just writing in to say that I believe we should be aloud multiple characters per account, because of a few reasons.

Firstly. It is vary helpful to have multiple characters to test different things out, as I majorly messed up my first character, severely unbalancing him because I did not know what I was doing. To remake, I had to get myself killed, and then write out about 300 characters for his death, just to make a new character, one that also didn't turn out vary great.

Now, this is my problem, not yours, but at the same time, restricting us to only one character per account makes it vary hard to get powerful, especially when it takes so long just to get to level 1, at least from what I've seen.

Also, I just want to experiment with other kinds of characters.

Rather off topic, but...
In muds like Alter Aeon, I had about 10 characters that I played every now and then, just to mess around with and learn the game.

Aredhueddog, you can have another Character, you just need to be an Upgraded Member first.

There is always one aspect that Players tend to forget with this free game… it is not totally automated like an app on your phone. There are real people who have to take time from their schedules to check your writing, approve content and so on. Not to mention, the countless hours of coding and so forth. If we allowed people to simply create dozens upon dozens of Characters then we would be all day checking Character content without any recompense. Donating and Upgrading shows you are pitching in to help with the work load and appreciate what goes on in the background. In turn we dedicate more of our time to checking your Characters.
