Autism risk linked to herpes infection during pregnancy

Women actively infected with genital herpes during early pregnancy had twice the odds of giving birth to a child later diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), according to a study. Ref. Source 6c.

Now that's a new one. If this based on statistics then I hope they share that information with doctors so they can pass it on to expectant mothers so they can prepare.
