Joseph Wapner of 'People's Court' dies at 97

Joseph Wapner, the retired Los Angeles judge who presided over "The People's Court" and became an unlikely American TV icon, died Sunday at age 97. His son said he died at home in his sleep after being hospitalized a week ago with breathing problems. Ref. Source 7x

I remember watching him when the Peoples court first aired. I thought he did a very good job and I am glad that he was at peace when he died. I wish his family all the best in this time of grief.
