Yes that is why you see in science fiction movies part of the ship or the ship itself having artificial gravity. With the added bonus of weight the artificial gravity will help reduce muscle loss and I bet the eye issue has something to do with the weightlessness too.

Yeah, my guess is your are correct about the visions be tied to this too. I think we mess with stuff we don't know about and then we wonder shy bad stuff happens. That said, I am quite the thrill seeker and I have quite the adventurous spirit. So when they tap me to lead the guard force for the first colony of an inhabitable planet in the Alpha Centauri system I'll jump at the chance! .
