Teen texts from bathroom as burglar ransacks home
Police are crediting a quick-thinking 14-year-old with protecting herself and her 4-year-old niece when a burglar broke into her family’s Montclair home. She didn't call 911 because she thought she'd be discovered. “He is inside mom he’s gonna (Hear) me,” she texted. Los Angeles Times Ref.
This is a brave girl. I'm sure she was terrified yet she kept her head about her and possible saved herself and her niece. Being brave doesn't mean not being scared, being brave means acting to help others and/or yourself when you are scared. This girl is the definition of that.
