Based on your experiences what for you was the tactical Combat Warfare: Desert's rating, pros and cons environment advantages and disadvantages against the enemy?

Desert Warfare Combat
Desert warfare is pretty straight forward. The enemy who is dug in has the advantage as the invading army is exposed. Having air superiority is a key to winning the desert campaign. Cutting off supply lines and harassing the dug in enemy with bombs will allow you to advance and take out the forces that were dug in. This is what we did to win the '91 gulf war.

KN is all over this one. The one thing I'd like to mention is how hard the environment is on people and equipment. The fine sand gets into everything and acts like sandpaper to ruin moving parts. This could be pretty bad if the moving parts are critical, they are on something like a helicopter, and they decide to fail while in flight. Also, because of the harsh conditions people can't go as far and water requirements are something that is critical to plan for.
