Reusable sponge created that soaks up oil

Scientists have invented a new foam, called Oleo Sponge, that not only easily adsorbs spilled oil from water, but is also reusable and can pull dispersed oil from the entire water column -- not just the surface. Ref. Source 1k.

This is good news as it will help reduce the environmental impact that oil spills cause. The fact that it is reusable can help make it quicker in absorbing the spill and cleaning up the water.
