Rep. Steve King, criticized by both sides of the aisle for controversial statements about race, loses Republican primary in Iowa. King was stripped of his House committee assignments after questioning how "White nationalist, white supremacist" became offensive terminology. Several prominent groups and people who previously supported King instead threw their support behind challenger Randy Feenstra, an Iowa state senator. Ref. USAToday.
