Author Colin Dexter dies, aged 86

Inspector Morse creator Colin Dexter has died peacefully at his home in Oxford, aged 86 Ref. BBC.

I have not read any of his works but from hearing for other avid readers they quite liked the books. I hope he rests in peace and wish his family sympathy in his passing.
