South Korea's presidential office said Tuesday the two countries have agreed to hold summit talks in late April, the Associated Press and the Yonhap South Korean news agency reported. South Korea's presidential national security director, Chung Eui-yong, also said North Korea has made it clear that it wouldn't need to keep its nuclear weapons if military threats against the country are resolved. The announcement came hours after a South Korean delegation led by Chung returned from a visit to the North, where they met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Ref. USAToday.
South Korea has worked to get the two countries on speaking terms but can it be towards peace or more talk? I have a feeling that this will be more talk than anything else.
