Kim Jong Un invites South Korean president for talks in North Korea. Kim Jong Un invited South Korean President Moon Jae-in to North Korea for talks following overtures made during the 2018 Winter Olympics, Moon's office announced Saturday. South Korea's presidential office said Tuesday the two countries have agreed to hold summit talks in late April, the Associated Press and the Yonhap South Korean news agency reported. South Korea's presidential national security director, Chung Eui-yong, also said North Korea has made it clear that it wouldn't need to keep its nuclear weapons if military threats against the country are resolved. The announcement came hours after a South Korean delegation led by Chung returned from a visit to the North, where they met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Ref. USAToday.

Here's hoping that something real and mature will come out these talks, instead of the videos showing NK nuking the US and other crazy propaganda and grandiose threats.

I wouldn't get relaxed with this. It could be a well thought out delay tactic and they will continue their nuke program that is for sure.

South Korea has worked to get the two countries on speaking terms but can it be towards peace or more talk? I have a feeling that this will be more talk than anything else.
