A few more minutes of tearful goodbyes, and Lia and Fay set off on the road back to Baldur's Gate.
On the way back, they hear rumors of some manner of recent attack in the Misty Forest, which lies ahead just off of their route. An entire village of halflings was apparently wiped out, all the inhabitants killed. Someone keeps insisting that a dragon was involved, though he is repeatedly dismissed. The more popular theory seems to be a wandering group of catoblepas (Nasty long necked abberations that spew poison).

Cratol's team move in, and when the time is right, those with bows take aim and fire in near unison. Unfortunately, one of the sentries is only lightly wounded rather than killed outright, and begins raising the alarm. Arrows finish taking him down shortly afterwards, but you can see lights going up and hear the orcs starting to rouse within. The sergeant wants to know whether you wish to charge or withdraw. You can probably make it to the keep entrance before more than a handful of the enemy do.
Cratol looks at the Sergeant and says "CHARGE!!" As he runs forward to attack the Orcs that present themselves.
He will use his Ki the first few rounds to get through the orcs as he attacks. HE will be trying to knock them down prone if he strikes with his flurry of blows. Remember he gets a extra +2 to attack and damage on Orcs.
I gave you plenty of rolls I believe for at least 12 rounds.
Like a whirlwind, Cratol punches through the orc's first responders, scattering them in his wake for those with him to swarm over. Moving fast, the small fighting force makes their way to the barracks, where most of the orcs slept.
His group pins them down within, using pikes and shields to hold them at the choke point while bows do the rest. It is brutal, bloody work, and several of Cratol's men go down, two with fatal wounds.
When it is done a count of the bodies suggests there are more orcs elsewhere. Five or so, it is difficult to say for sure what they are up to, but you can hear banging noises elsewhere in the keep.

Follow the sound of banging to find where they are and what they are up to. Ridding the keep of Orcs so that his family can once again rule in this land is something Cratol feels passionate about and plus he really does not like Orcs.
Cratol's men follow the banging, it seems to be coming from the top of the keep's tower.
It sounds like metal on stone, but the noises stop just before the group reaches the base of the stairs. Its a fairly narrow passage up.

Geoffroy had followed his companions, since Lia had not desired that he go with her on the journey she had planned though the Morningliege had offered, and had helped with the wererats where they were attacked though quickly dispatched for all accounts.
Elyria had come with him, since she had nowhere else that his sister could go for the moment and wanted to help where she could. One they had allowed for Velon to get fixed up and prevent the lycanthropy from taking hold. He did tease the sorcerer a bit with how his nose twitched.
Out of Character: It will have to do, and I can try having things continue more naturally.

Out of Character: Thomas, I'm afraid Cratol's misadventures with the orcs are ocurring quite a distance away from where you Poljen, and Velon are at.
At present, Geoffroy is just dealing with the aftermath of the wererat contract.

Out of Character: Updated, my apologizes for getting a few things mixed up. It appears there actually hasn't been much in the way of replies for us since you last updated.
