Good point. In truth, the Hundred Years War was many wars interrupted by this peace, that cease fire, and this marriage. And there are other examples, such as the Peloponnesian War, the Thirty Years War, the sixty years of nearly continual warfare Japan went through before Sekigahara, etc. Maybe a better defined opening question would help here.
