I can agree that many need to server their full sentences for the common good of mankind. But on the down side of that is the over population of jails we see now. How do we combat this? Do we find a island someplace to send all of our unwanted criminals to? The fact that our prison populations are growing faster than new prisons can be built if saying a lot about our world right now.

Yes those who prey on children and women are some of the worse but sometimes our hands are tied.

You bring up valid points and I don't have all the answers. If I did I'd have a lot more money to donate to this site. I think part of the reasons our jails are overflowing is the war on drugs President Reagan started and President Clinton accelerated. Many if the people in jail are there for very minor offenses and due to the three strikes rule. I'd much rather they get released iver this creature. That said, he's in Australia and I don't know the laws there.

Even being in Australia they are having the same over crowding issues there that many places are in the civilized world. It has gotten to be big money in the prison systems to try and keep all the criminals housed. I would hope that they keep him locked up but I have a feeling that he will be released.

It's simple. People like this guy get life in prison with no chance for parole. If they voluntarily agree to be castrated after it is done they are released. Pedophiles don't change. Releasing them back into society means other children will be victimized.

Yes, I'm good with this sentence. After a long stint in prison they can be castrated to be released.
