I have a question for the mods. Is there room for discussion here regarding the level of auto-editing of our posts? I'm not sure if there's a specific forum for that, or if my Intro thread is appropriate.
I just tried to write "Well, well, well" (Or well x3, if this get's edited). To me this would seem like a common phrase. Perhaps the smug bad guy has caught the hero and says "Well x3, if it isn't my arch nemesis… "or the the detective finally catches the famous thief and says smugly "Well x3, if it wasn't Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick all along… "
Sometimes we write the way we do to get the tone of the characters across and I was wondering if there is room to loosen up the auto-tweaking of our posts? I know it can make it hard for others to make posts where the bard's song rhymes or other types of tone are expressed, as well.
Hello mods. I just had something happen while posting that I have not seen before. I made a post in Daishain's 5e Main Thread page and it said my post had to be reviewed by a moderator before it could go up. It likely exists in the thread but cannot be viewed as well, because a new page has been added onto the thread, page 1196, but clicking on it just brings you to 1195. Is this a new aspect of the site with regard to reviewing posts in our Dungeons & Dragons game? In this situation I was hoping to edit my post and I believe with my membership status I only have 30 minutes to do so, so I'm not sure if this review period will overlap with the 30 minutes. (And in this case, I was also hoping to go to bed, (Laugh)). Thanks!

Aha, let me revise that. Logging in to the site anew via a different browser let me see the new page in the thread and edit my post. I did then receive the message about it being renewed again, so that question still stands if there are any changes we all should be aware of. (?) The pending review left page 1196 blank for a minute despite that I could indeed view it, but the review did happen quickly, it seems, as now I see my revised post. Perhaps the reviews are automated and just take a few seconds, and my initial concern was mostly confusion combined with wonky browser issues, both on my part. Thanks!
