I yell, "Countercharge, bunch them up quickly!", as I go scrabbling for the scroll I'd left for quick retrieval earlier.

Once I have it in my hands, I'll get into position to cast the Color Spray spell past Rachel and Ghost, catching as many of them as possible. Source 6j

Once done with that, I'll take up my crossbow again and start firing. If for some reason they aren't bunching up enough to make the effort worthwhile, or I can't get in position to spray the group, I'll forget about the scroll and just shoot.

Out of Character: Note, I'll risk as many as 2 AOOs in order to get into position. I'll delay my action if need be for the circumstances to be right. Hoping to catch at least five of the buggers in the 15' cone.

I fire my bow at them as quickly as I can. I'll aim for any that look larger or like the leader first.

Out of Character: Remember I get two shots per round now for my Ranger feat.

I again seek to inspire courage and determination in my allies, this time allowing the lyre to do the work instead of my words as it had been given to me to use. Hoping that my time learning the guitar would help me in playing a pleasant tone. Still, if a fight was needed I would use my rapiar to fight the goblins as part of me considered this being needed.

Game Role-Playing Character You Dragons and Dungeons

Jason steps forward and issues a colored spray as javelins come into your group. The first six fall to the ground unmoving but those behind keep coming. Jason is hit for 4 damage Rachel and Ghost are missed, Allen and Thomas are missed and Den is hit for 2 damage. Den shoots with his bow taking one out. But missing his second attack/ Rachel hits one with her club but it hardly phases him. Ghost grabs one and kills it. Allen misses on his first attack but hits with his second felling the one that Rachel hit.

I continue furiously firing arrows at the creatures as they swarm. I take a few steps back to maintain space between me and the creatures.

The Storyteller says...

I will try to get under cover a bit, if any can be found, yet continue to play my lyre as I seek to inspire my companions as I say, "Come now, we can do it! They are goblins, their strength being numbers and little else. Are we going to allow these little manics be the death of us?" My words may also have the added benefit of being understood by the goblins, the insults working to our advantage hopefully.

Specific Action: Continue with Bardic Performance and with using Inspire Courage.
