3.5 D&D You As Character Role-Playing Game - Page 174

I will need tracking rolls as you head off the path you are following and headed in a new direction. The tracks look tubuar.

Game Role-Playing Character You Dragons and Dungeons

I help Dennis as best I can with the tracking, trying to remember what the heck in the monster manual left tubular tracks.

Out of Character: rolling basic Knowledge check, add 5 for an arcana related critter, 1 for planes, and nothing for Religion or Nature.

Since we are taking turns in going on patrols, I will be studying and researching in the library. Even having my laptop on for a bit of the time to compare and contrast information so I can start figuring out what is or is not the same. Hopefully something useful comes up, as I look though not only some of the monster manuals but the different campaign settings as well.

Heading off into the trees you work at tracking the creature. Soon you lose the trail in among the trees where the leaves and other underbrush obscure the tracks. You are about a hour off your planned route. No one can think of what made this type of tracks.
