As Dennis and Rachel enter the forge, they find Thomas and myself engaged in conversation with the young elf girl looking on. I'm pacing back and forth, waving my hands about as I speak. "Yes, it would be nice to just Dimension Door them out, but I don't think we can count on all three of them being imprisoned together. Further, the most I'd be able to bring along with me that way is two. Let's keep it simple enough to improvise. Knock a few people out, use a few scrolls of Benign Transposition to hotswap two people and one big wolf out of there, and then book it the traditional way. If you can be waiting with… "
I break off, completely thrown off by my friends' safe reappearance, I lamely say, "Oh, hi."
"Well, the plans sound promising. Keep working on them, I'm sure in time they'll come in handy. At the rate we're going one of us will be in a dungeon somewhere in need of rescuing soon enough. Luckily, it isn't this time." I relate the rest of the story to Jason and Thomas. I look at Thomas, "We were lucky this time. Please try and refrain from doing that again. There is no need to bring an outsider into our private business, even if you think that outsider heard or saw something. If you feel an overwhelming need to do so in the future, please ask first."
I blink a few times, "She wanted to zombify you? I figured it was all a misunderstanding, but damn, would not have called that one."
I head over to where I left my satchel and start digging through the documents within, "Well, we can make contingency plans for if something like this happens and goes more poorly. Should be able to get something more solid in the works than the half cocked idiocy we were yammering about in here."
"But you know me, I prefer preventative measures rather than reactionary. Right now we are valued as an expeditionary force. It has earned us some safety and respect. I suggest that we push beyond this, and make ourselves indispensable."

I will nod to Dennis, looking to Rachel as well before saying, "I will seek to keep my mouth shut until I talk with the rest of you first." Still a sigh can be heard, both glad that this worked out yet frustrated in other details.
We will wait until Jason is done with Thomas's armor, which I believe is in just a few days, and then go out on another patrol, this time a bit further afield. Looking at everyone I say, "We should wait until Thomas' armor is completed and then start our next patrol. For now, I need to seek out a healer since I have not had the chance to recover."
Out of Character: KN, what does a healer cost. Jason/Rachel, how much funds do we have left?
I tilt my head a bit, "Do we not have our own healers? Surely Rachel or Thomas can help."
Out of Character: Away from my notes on the subject, but technically several thousand, most of that is earmarked for crafting projects though. I seem to recall having a bit over 700 untagged. Enough for a minor wondrous item for Den by the by, has the only one left.

"Yes, I could cure you're wounds," I say, before considering, "It may take a few days at most but between myself and Rachel we should be able to get you patched up in full." I look a little confused that this wasn't taken care of, or why he didn't ask for such healing.
