I slowly say, "I can do that. I am sorry, I must admit to being rather oblivious to such attention most of the time. I hope I haven't caused her distress by not noticing. In addition to my own particular quirks, the culture I grew up with is quite different even from that of the humans you would know, are there any particular actions or phrases I should be aware of? I would hate to stumble upon an idiom that has deeper meaning for her I didn't intend."
"As to language, there are some esoteric concepts to explain that I cannot simply point to and make my meaning clear. Timing, temperature, why certain things have a particular effect, that kind of thing. I had intended to ask for that language imprinting service in regards to Elvish. Would that be possible? I can still help teach her the words in Common."

I think for a moment, then nod, "Yes, let us do that, we can spare the funds, and if this is going to work, we need to be able to understand each other clearly."
"For now though, could you extend my offer to her? I... Suspect I know the answer, but please make sure she is aware that she needs to pay careful attention both to what I tell her and what she does. It is safe enough done right, but a mistake can be very dangerous."

I nod to Thomas." Have a good day. I'm going to rest. A nice warm bath sounds nice." Grinning I turn to Den." Let me look at your would Den. We can't afford to lose you." Speaking softly I utter" Does that flatter you that the Lord's wife thought of acquiring you for her zombie?" I laugh softly." I hope this helps you anyways. I will do my best to keep you out of her clutches." I touch Den's arm and call upon my healing magics.

Lywenta calls her over and tells her in their language what you want. You see her face brighten up. Once you pay Lywenta the money for the language she cast a spell on you. She then indicates Qwantithalica who turns to you and speaks in her language. "I will be your apprentice and will learn all you wish to teach to me. I will promise to do the best I can as long as you will have me."
When Rachel heads into the baths there is one person relaxing in the baths. It is a male and as your eyes adjust to the dimmer light you can see it is Lord Douglas.
Speaking carefully, and enjoying the beautiful sounds of this new language, I reply, "I in turn promise to teach you everything I think you are ready to learn, to keep you safe to the best of my ability, and guide your steps on this new path until you are ready to run."
"I will be resuming work on that breastplate tonight after the regular smith retires, if you could join me then, we can get started in earnest."
Blinking, I turn back to Lywenta, "Oh, that reminds me, I am going to need a workspace of my own sooner or later, I suspect my role as a crafter will continue to expand, and before long Quantithalica will need space to work on her own projects. In your estimation, what would it take to break ground on a new moderately sized building?"

I walk into the baths ready to unwind. Glancing around I see that someone is already in there. I look carefully to see who it is. Seeing that it is Lord Douglas I frown. Can this day ever end? "Oh, excuse me Lord Douglas. I didn't mean to intrude. I'll be going now."
Lywenta says, I will put a request in to the Lord. How big of a space do you feel will be adequate for you? Or you can talk to him tomorrow if that is easier. He can tell me what to do and a building can be raised by magical means. He is the one that makes that call."
Qwantithalica beans her bright happy smile at you and says, "I will be there master." She then turns to head back into the keep.
Lord Douglas speaks, "Oh come on in you are not disturbing me in any way. Relax and enjoy a nice hot bath. Nothing bad will happen to you in here."
