I scratch my chin a bit, then say, "I still don't like the idea of leaving Be down there with just one other until we can be sure that last passage doesn't have something on the other end. By the time we finish talking to Lord Douglas the day will likely be mostly over."
"So how's this for a plan? I'll stay here tonight, help Be out as best I can. I may not be as attuned to magic as she, but I do have an eye for enchantments. Someone reports to the Lord, and maybe brings back Lywenta or someone else magically inclined to lend more hands. Others do as they wish, and we'll reconvene for another push tomorrow."
"And yes, we have a few hundred in reserve that we could put towards new languages. Anyone have objections to any of this?"
I look at Jason," I have no objections. I too at some point would like to learn Elven. It seem it would be most beneficial.
I shake my head." That sounds like the best option that we have Jason. Thomas and I and whoever else wishes to go can inform Lord Douglas of the situation and see if we can get more help for you."

"Let's see, if I remember correctly, they offered Elvish, Dwarvish, Dryad, Abyssal, Orcish, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Gnoll, Gnomish, Halfling and Wabba. Between everyone here, we have elvish, dwarfish, and Halfling covered."
"Before you ask about the Wabba, the way they were described reminds me of Ewoks with fangs, who from the sound of it can drink most dwarves under the table. I'm still unsure if I want to meet them."
"As to time and cost, about an hour and a hundred gold per. Main catch is the people who do that are the most likely to be excited about digging through that cache in the first place, so you may or may not be able to get it done today. Just in case you can though… "
I dig out a key from a pocket and hold it out, "Here, I've been keeping the group's funds in a lockbox. It is behind a loose kickboard on the wardrobe in my room. Don't go too nuts, I'll be needing most of what's in there for magic items I'm making for you guys."
"And lastly, if someone could bring those of us in team campout something fresher than trail rations for supper, I would greatly appreciate it."
With that done, I'll heft my stuff again and look to Qwantithalica, somehow suspecting she wishes to join me.
Out of Character: Hope the bit with the lockbox is not too much of a stretch, we haven't actually specified where we stashed funds before. I think we can spare the 300 for the people who have so far expressed interest in learning a language at this time. Probably more if there's cause.

"Let's head back and make the arrangements, as you suggested. Given time, I'd like to learn both Elvish and Dryad."
Specific Action: Head back to the keep, arrange meals to be sent to those waiting, as well as report to the Lord on all the details of our findings. Recommend that Be get some help in the magic room, as available, and then get educated in both languages.
Qwantithalica will go with Jason as she does not want him to be away from her too much. She waves to the others as Jason and her turn back into the tunnels. The way is not hard heading back to the magic room.
When you get there Be is excited to see Qwantithalica and gives her a hug as she excitedly tells her that she has discovered what some of the potions do. She feels that the six cure light wound potions (Pink in color), the eight cure serious wound potions (Green in color) would be very helpful to the party. She is still working on the potions. She points out four purple potions. "These four are a mystery. They hold powerful magic but I do not know how to explain what they do. It is like a poly morph but permanent changes to the person who takes them occurs. I can not tell if those changes will be good or bad but changes will occur."
