Out of character: sorry, about that KN. I have included 3 more rolls in this post.
I will continue to shot the hobgoblins with my crossbow, hoping to take at least one out.

"Thomas, Vickie, help me secure the rear."

I'll shift back, stepping a little ahead of the elves, closer to the hobs coming up from behind, firing at the same.

Out of Character: keeping previous attack rolls, though add the +1 morale bonus. Thomas, you are capable of making attacks and taking other actions while maintaining Inspire Courage, you don't have to effectively sit the combat out.

I swing and party as needed guarding Ghosts flank.
Out of Character: : the rest of my attacks were duds even with the morale boost. Just using them for scene setting.

Hearing Jason's command, I will direct my crossbow that direction aiming my bolts at the enemy.

Ok to finish the first round. One of the elf teens is hit for 8 damage causing them to fall to the ground. The rest all miss. To be clear there are six behind you and three still in the room.

Round two Ghost hits another one almost tearing its head clear off killing it. Rachel misses and grant misses. Jason and Vickie turn to fight those coming from behind. Jason hits one for 9 damage and Vickie hits one for 8 damage. Thomas keeps playing his song. Qwantithalica hits one for 5 damage while one of the other teens hits one for 3 damage. The hobgoblins strike back one hits Grant for 7 damage. Another teen is hit and goes down. The rest miss.
Round three Ghost tears into another one for 7 damage but does not kill it. Rachel and Grant miss the two that are left in the room. Jason misses as does Vickie on the six behind you. Qwantithalica misses as does the other teen. The Hobgoblins attack back. Rachel is hit this time for 8 damage. Behind another teen goes down and Qwantithalica is hit for 6 damage.
Round four Ghost finishes off the one he attacked in the room leaving one left. Rachel and Grant both miss it. Qwantithalica hits and kills one of the injured Jason hits and kills another one Vickie misses Thomas is still playing his song. The Hobgoblin in the room hits Rachel for 6 damage. Qwantithalica is hit for 5 damage. And Vickie is hit for 6 damage.
There is one left in the room and four still behind the group. I will need fresh attack/damage or actions for four more rounds.

I gasp in pain as I'm struck solidly twice. "Finish them Ghost." I worry about the noise of chaos behind us. Knowing that I could fall soon if I'm not careful I murmur the words to heal myself. I then begin striking with urgency at the ones left in front of us. Once they are down I will assist to the rear. Ghost is snarling and snapping as he continues ripping them apart.

Grunting in pain as the blade slices along my arm, peeling back the flesh and bleeding profusely, I crouch lower, shield high to parry the incoming blows, and strike back as opportunity offers!
Specific Action: Attacks, using the last Inspiration point on the first attack damage that hits.

Out of Character: : I forgot to add the +1 attack and damage bonus from the "Ride of the Valkyries" being played in the background. Please adjust accordingly.
