Kneeling with the others, I am uncertain what I should be contemplating.
I spend the time memorizing the boy's face and name. I've never been good at remembering such details among acquaintances, but I refuse to forget him.
When we get back towards the stronghold, I'll tell the others, "We're not going back in there today, or tomorrow for that matter. We'll see after that. Rest and recover for now. See the healers if you are injured."
Turning to my companion I'll say, "Thalica, I know you're still hurting, let us get that injury seen to."
I wipe away my tears." Thank you my lord. I understand. It's just so hard." I say my farewells and head to the bath to relax. I then retire to my room with Ghost at my side. I get in bed and look up at the ceiling as I try to find sleep. It is many hours later before I manage to sleep.

Restocking the expended potions, I wrap up my day back in the library, studying more of this worlds magics, histories and religions, focussing on funery rites and ceremonies. The brutal, primitive nature of these people’s battles brings home the ever present hazards I face until I can make it home. After a few hours of this, I will eat and head to bed, exhausted and sore, to sleep for the hours I am able.
Asking the guards when they expect the library to become available again, I then head to the hall and start talking with anybavailable mages, to discuss magic and the religions.
Out of Character: : there were still potions left in inventory, last I saw on Dai’s spreadsheet. If no one is available to discuss technical and informational issues as above, then eat and go to bed.
I believe the potions on his spreadsheet are those that he is carrying or has spread out among the party members. You will have to ask him about that.
The guards are not able to tell you when the library will open again and there is no mages in the dining hall when asked about them you are told they are in the library.
Walking with my companion I ask, "Is there anyone else he was close to? Others that we need to directly inform of his passing? I should take care of that before resting"
Out of Character: Not where I can check it, but I don't recall any actual potions on the spreadsheet. I had potions on the ever growing list of things to make, and a section devoted to the costs of potions I could make for reference. But all the potions we actually had were with us in the tunnels, we'll need to make or buy more to replace the ones used. Of course, we never quite got around to actually designating who had all the healing potions we just got from Be, and I'm still uncertain how many of those were actually used.
