I feel anger simmering at the sight of the slaves. Heading towards them to help I turn around.
As we explore the tunnels I say through gritted teeth," Let's do this right, we have this won. Kill every last one of them." My knuckles are white as I griping my club and shield so tightly. Ghost senses my mixed emotions and the hackles on his neck are raised.

If we cannot spot anything down either passage, I'll shake my head. "We do not need to be ambushed again today, and the more passages we put at out backs, the more likely that becomes. Lets collect the captives, the fallen guard, and the loot, then clear out. We can return to finish sweeping the place in the morning."
"Thats not an order, if people wish to continue we will."

Understanding Rachel's Fury a little bit more now I stop regretting being left off the front mind as much in the initial stages of the fight the looking around it scene that continuing down the maze had let doubt creep back into the minds of the party as to whether or not we should keep going further and further away from the exit that met safety for those we've rescued." We live to fight another day?"
"So that's three in favor of returning after a bit of rest."
"Rachel? Your stake in this is moreā¦ personal than the rest of us. I swear that we will finish this, but I want to do it right, without giving those bastards a chance to take anything else away from us."
Out of Character: I think its the right move, if there are any left, the chances of them pulling something and causing another casualty go up considerably the more intersections we encounter. I think most of us are due a level up when we get out in any case, not to mention the new party member incoming.

Though part of me wanted to continue on, I also saw the great risk in doing so now with what needed to be worried about. Especially involving the prisoners and the emotions running high… especially on the insight of how Rachel connects into all this with how she was abused and assaulted. With such, I will say, "Though I can understand the wish to kill all the bastards still left, it would be wiser to go back and return refreshed."
"I agree, Rachel has the most at stake here, if she wishes to go on or not.(I look over in her direction looking sympathetic) I also believe the slaves need care, more than we can do down here. Plus we have the chests to think about as well. So going back and getting a good days rest, probably is the best for all of us."
