Just in a way of comparison for you Travis Ghost is a large wolf. He is over eight feet in length and the top of his back if five feet off the ground. He can look the tall armored red headed man standing to the side of the lord in the eyes easily and that guy is 6' 4" tall.
"Hold on a moment Travis."
Catching up with Rachel briefly, being careful not to crowd her at all, I'll tell her, struggling with the words a bit, "Listen, I don't know if there's anything I can say that would help. Just please remember that you are not alone, and if there is anything I can do, I will."
"There's a spell that can modify memories, if something refuses to fade with time, it might help with the worst of it. I don't know, but it may be worth trying. Its something I've wished I could do for my mother on occasion. She was… well, that's not important. Just… take care, and be careful out there Rachel."
Looking to Ghost I'll simply say, "Do what you can for her."
If Rachel simply leaves after that, I'll return to the table with Travis.

Travis's jaw almost drops at the sight of this very large wolf.
"Holy, what the," he says quietly, stops short from saying anymore.
"Why, hello Rachel nice to meet you, and Ghoost," he answers her a lump forming in his throat.
He quickly regains his composure, the rumbling in his stomach now taking over. Indicating breakfast time.
He turn's his attention to Jason, at the dinning table, his heart just skipped a beat. Takes a couple slow breaths.
"Thank's for all your help Jason, with me. As for saving lives and the community I can live with that," he answers.
"I might end up staying here, for twenty years, or more, who knows, I've lost track of time anyhow," Travis says.
"As for ridding horses, I've only had a handful of ridding lessons, you know I've done the tourist thing, back on earth that is" he replies.
Out of Character: What is the typical breakfast fare? Travis will eat before doing any strenuous activity.
I look at Jason in surprise." Thank you for your concern. I really appreciate you saying that. That spell sounds interesting. We have bigger concerns though. I don't wish to take away from the group as a whole. I... Think… "I have trouble finishing my sentence. Looking down I walk out quickly with Ghost at my heels.
Curious about this new arrival's ease at accepting the new world, as well as about the strange patterns to his speech, I shrug then grab a trencher of cheeses and meats and head off to the library.
Specific Action: searching the library for reference materials in magic item creation as well as primers of Sylvan language.
"Hi, Jonathon, and I'm Travis from Perth, Australia, pleasure to meet you," Travis answers shaking his hand.
"Hope, Rachel's alright," he adds.
