I grin at the sight, "Nice, but there's a problem. You can't see in the dark, and as far as I know you don't speak goblin either. I think we might have to save that one for another time."
Out of Character: For torches, probably five or six, carried by whoever has a free hand. Rachel, myself, Vickie, etc. We're just pressing through as normal, always taking the rightmost unexplored path.

Out of Character: did I get the hobgoblins language while Travis was out, as well as the Dryad one?
"Oh, I think the language part I've got handled, although the dark vision may prove an issue. "
If the marching order is the same, I'll hold a torch for the front ranks.

Travis, excepts the strange looking book from Jason.
"This is the exact book, I was shown by the two Elven attendants, thank's Jason," he answers.
"Where, did you find this,"? He adds.
"Back to it, yes but first I need to meditate, and I will need some ingredients, before I go out again please," he says.
"I will definitely require a quartz crystal, and a miniature cloak, didn't you say you made a miniature figure,"?
After, Jason leaves Travis puts on some dry clothes that he finds in a nearby cupboard.
A medieval looking dark pastel green tunic, and what looks like full dark navy blue, drawstring trousers.
"That will do nicely," he says, then last but not least puts on his akubra hat.
He walks over towards the mystical book, now on the bed, and skims through the contents.
"I shouldn't even be able to read this, but I can, the words seem to carry a latent power of sorts," he notes. "Added bonus, I don't need reading glasses either."
"OK, provided I get no interruptions, here goes," he says, after closing the door to his room.
He starts to meditate, study on three 0 level Cleric spells: Guidance, Resistance, Read magic.
He then takes a breather, then meditates on another three 1st level Cleric spells: Ice slick, Bless allies, and Cure light wounds. Both not in any particular order.
Out of Game: Travis takes the necessary, time to prepare the above mentioned spells. Unless interrupted of course. However, he doesn't yet possess a divine or arcane focus. Hence, the preoccupation on ingredients.
As you get back to the T intersection you once again head to the right down this long corridor. It goes about 260 feet before turning to the right. You follow this down about 80 feet before it turns to the left. I will need people to roll spot and search checks while you explore.
Travelling along, I regret that I wasn't able to make this disguise compete with knowledge of the Hobs language. Holding the torch high, I still keep the illusion of weaker armour and weapons, hoping I provides a benefit nonetheless.
Staying alert to anything that might present a threat, I keep moving, peering in various directions.
Whatever hobs are left over, they have to know what happened to their brethren by now.
Out of Character: already rolled spot/listen/search checks.

While having supper, with the others he catches up with Vickie.
"For me the whole event seemed dream-like, However I've somehow changed.
I can now read ancient divine text," he answers.
"I guess, I'm ready to go out again," he adds.
I will follow the others as we continue exploring the tunnels. I will keep an eye out for anything out the the ordinary with the torchlight.
Out of Character If I am able to chat with Travis I will tell him of my own experience of the event and how I now have the power of my mind to harm the enemy.
