I will try to keep a stable stance on the ground to offer stability, while also keeping hold of my horse in part to hopefully keep him from bolting.
The rain don't bother me at first, as I pull the hood of my robe over my head (If it has one, if not disreguard). I do have difficulty getting up the hill with the rai coming down as it is. Once I get to the top I assess the best way to navigate the downslope so as to not go sliding down to the bottom. Thinking going at an angle to be the best way so slowly begin to go down at an angle even moving in a back and forth pattern if needed.
Out of Character: Doing reflex save, search and spot as well. Sorry KN for not posting sooner.
Travis, Vickie, Thalica, Be, and one of the other elf teens takes the quick way down the hill. It turns out to be a slide that they will not soon forget as they speed down the hill and see a cliff at the bottom that they soon go over to see a lake about 80 feet below as they plummet through the air and splash into the water. If they were not soaked before they definitely are now. The good news is they did not hit any trees on the way down even if they had some very close calls.
The rest of the party slowly and steadly move down the hill and find a way to go around the cliff to the shore of the lake to see their companions and horses making their way to the shore to exit the water. The rain is starting to let up as everyone is by the Lakeshore.
Those that slid down hill take 10 damage points from hitting the water hard and awkwardly.
After reaching the shivering, soaked group, I try to locate a covered area where we can gather them and have a covered fire. "We need to get these people warm and dry, quickly. Jason, do you have anything in your arsenal that'd work? The Burning Hands scroll can start the fire, if we have to, but finding enough dry wood is going to be challenging. "

Travis, slides down the hill feet first. Seeing a rapidly approaching cliff face.
He feels himself, plummiting down at least an 80 feet drop, plunging into a lake.
Unprepared, for the ride, he is winded, receives, cuts, scrapes, and swallows water. The water, tastes fresh and a little colder, than the outside temperature.
Winded, he struggles back to the surface, starts swimming to the nearest shore. He, looks back at the cliff face.
"Why does this remind me of a watering hole, in northern australia," he says.
"Bloody crocs," he gasps, and swims even quicker to the shore.
The next thing, he notices Grant attempting to light a fire, nearby. He starts breathing hard, then immediately panics trying to find his spell book, or a potion, in his sack. He struggles, to get up, feels arround for the items, that would strengthen him.
Out of Character: Travis is now on 4 hit points, and is frantically trying to feel for his spell book, or a familiar CLW potion. As I've just, fallen off a cliff, and barely survived. I need KN to determine what gear, also survived??
I'm surmising, that the water in the lake would be colder, than the outside warmer atmosphere.

Travis is relieved to discover his spell book, and potions, still intact within his back pack.
He quickly, reads out loud the contents of his cure light wounds, conjuring divine energy. As the words disolve, from the page, he feels a healing warmth fill his body.
