When you ask about the possibility of tracking the goblins Douglas says, "I do wish the North to be more explored but nothing says that you have to stay in the North. If something comes up that will take you in another direction, then use your heads and take the course you feel more prudent."

I nod at this. " Let's go get them. I want to drive them out of the area. They are sub human garbage. Let's do it before more halflings are eaten. I want to put Aragorn Jr to the test. Surely practice is the best to way to gain skill. We need another test for Celebrimbor as well. "

As we approach I search around looking for tracks to follow.

Out of Character: It appears my DC is either 5, 10 or 15. I would guess ten since the ground is probably soft around a lake. -2 for the number of individuals makes it a 3, 8, or 13. I get one roll per hour… here goes nothing. Next time I remember to put more points into survival for my Ranger to start!

I have no idea how close we are. We could be nigh on top of 'em." I take my bow off my shoulder and knock an arrow. "Jason, drop back a bit, Rachel, you and Ghost move forward. Slowly, carefully, quietly… that means you too Ghost. Let's not make it easy on them to get all of us at once if they are near."
