"When clearing dungeons, I always liked using the left or right hand rule. Which one determined by a coin flip. Sound good?"
"I suggest setting a tripwire with a bell across the passage we don't use. Its hardly foolproof, but could give us advance warning on any would be flankers."
" That sounds great Jason. I'm in. I liked your idea of still roleplaying as well. Star Wars is perfect. I love playing Jedi. " My neck aches a little from stooping over. " This is one time I wish that I was shorter. If this whole place is like this we will have permanent neck aches. I can't imagine for you two being even taller. "
"I'm trying not to think about that. I'll probably be calling for a halt in a few so I can lay down and stretch a bit. At least I can just drop flat for combat and fire from there, Poor Dennis has to maneuver that long stick of his."
"In any case, coin toss it is! Heads we go right and stay right on all untraveled paths. Tails we do the opposite"
Out of Character: rolling a D2 for the coin, 1 is left, 2 is right.
"Sounds good to me and I'm in on the game. I recommend we mark what we've cleared with chalk. A mark only we recognize. This is kind of like Military Operations in Urban Terrain, what we call MOUT in the military. Clear as you go, make sure the enemy can't slip back behind you, and mark what you've cleared."
Paying careful attention to Dennis, I step close behind the ranger, prepared to fire over his left shoulder, and silently indicate I'm ready to sweep around the corner with him.
Out of Character: readied action to fire at any hostiles seen. Going on the assumption that anything down here is a goblinoid, so adding in Bane effects. If target is not in that category, reduce tohit result by 2, and ignore bonus damage (2d6).

I smile as I think about this, here we are, two grown men following a women and her puppy into danger. Granted, the puppy is five feet high at the shoulder and she is a magic wielding badass… but nonetheless. What would my men think of me now? I make sure to keep Rachel out of my field of view as we turn the corner.
Out of Character: Readied action in the event Goblins show themselves.
