In 5e we wouldn't have much of a chance against what is coming. . Hopefully in 3.5 we will be ok. Maybe it won't find us. I must say I wasn't expecting this yet.

Yes knowledge nature would work too if you have that skill. So if you roll that to assist you that works too.

Rolling Int check, add a 7 to it if Karcana helps. Which it would with a black dragon if that is indeed what it is. Which it certainly sounds like, there are very few other creatures with that kind of speed in the air.

I don't know if it being 3.5e helps us Rachel, its easier to die here.

Large black flying object, could be a dragon. In any case, we are way out of our league here.
The hit points, alone would be phenomenal.
We need to find suitable cover, and quickly if that is the case.

I would feel better if the Silver Blaze was here *wink* We aren't there yet. Ping had no chance. Even if I get to the ground I have zero chance against this creature. I didn't want to lead it to the group. I'm pretty sure it would be a TPK. Hopefully I can survive this somehow.
