Like that commercial… shouldn't we go in the running car and drive away? Why would we do that? Let's go hide in that shed with the chain saws. Perfect, Thomas, Ghost, and I are headed to that shed.

EDIT That said, it wouldn't be the first time I did something stupid. The last time I ended up with some shrapnel and a Silver Star. Let's hope that's all that happens this time.

Just so you know there is no silver stars to be handed out here in this game. Well wait I can not really say that there is some star stuff you can get your hands on and it can be added to steel to make it harder and sharper so yeah silver star dust for swords or other weapons no pins to place on your chest *smile*.

I don't wear any of that to tell you the truth. I hated to when I was in and I hate it still even though I can when I wear a tux. All it means is I was in the wrong place at the right and rather than thinking like a rational human being I acted with my gut. I don't need a pretty lit bit of cloth and metal to remind me of anything. I'm sure if anyone understands, you do.

Yes I have a shadow box with all my rewards and medals displayed but it is just a reminder of things I have done. I did what I was trained to do and that is it. I will have to post a photo of it here. Nothing real special about it *smile*.

Okay, sitrep clarification.

If I have my bearings right, there are exactly 2 entries to the cellblock area, the one we came down from the cave entrance, and the one we peeked down after encountering mister cleaver.

First entry is effectively covered by group A, as they're currently rushing down it.

Presuming the goblins taking Rachel are headed down the second entry, I have a relatively brief period of time to follow them before they get to the next intersection. If I can catch up by then, goblins won't be able to get by me and at the children unnoticed. (Doesn't mean they aren't already in the cell block waiting for me to leave, but they'd still have to get by me or party A for the moment.)

Am I missing anything?

Well you have to remember that of the five goblins two of them came in from the west or the cell blocks? Are there any more between you and group A? Will you be leaving the children in the hands of them if there are? Yes you know there are at least two other goblins to the north carrying Rachel away. So as far as you know it is as you stated. Group A never stopped to check if there were more goblins in the cells that could or could not be following behind them.
