Dai, I've added a couple of expenses to the sheet, for the Hat and the Construct, but I also put in the Blank wand as an option. They seem like an excellent way of spreading out a single wand's usages, and reusing them as needed since blank wands can change the spells they hold. What about next up on the crafting table are Bracers +1 for everyone who doesn't have one? .
There are no blank wands or any other wands for sale in the strong hold area. You would have to ask the mages if they will construct one for you. You will have to supply the components for the wand making and the cost associated with them making it. The cost they charge is the the spell level and research time to cast it.
.
Good to know kn,
Grant, you mean bracers of armor? Those don't stack with regular armor. They're only good for someone that can't or won't wear armor, like monks, or Ghost. Amulets of natural armor, while a bit more pricey, would stack for most.
Whichever item we can get to boost armour will be what we should look towards. I'm at 19 AC now with the gem bonus, but every one of us should be boosted as high as we can get. Especially if we are facing large numbers again.
Yeah, rings of protection would be next, but we don't have that available. Nat armor amulets would be after the rings, then I'd go back and focus on getting better or more enhanced armor.
I also want to start working on everyone's saves shortly. Cloaks of protection would be the default start for that. I would like to work on the big weakness we've been dealing with lately, no darkvision. It might be out of our reach for the immediate future to solve that for everyone, but one or two of the scouts? Sure.
Goggles of night will cost you over 12,000 gp for one set if you can find some dark crystal is it is not a common element. Plus you would have to be able to craft at 3rd level. Then you would have to hire a mage to cast the darkvison spell on it to complete it.
