Comments: Why doesn't most bullet proof gear not properly protect the neck? If you are shot in the neck you can die from chocking or your spinal chord could be hit and you would lose control of all your limbs.

People have a serious misconception on bullet proof stuff. There is no such thing as bullet proof gear. You have bullet resistance and different levels of such bullet resistance. There is nothing that it actually bullet proof. The reason there is little or no protection in the neck area is two fold. One it is hard to hit a small target such as the neck. Two it needs to be more clear to allow movement to look around and see danger before it finds you.
