Lawyer says United Airlines passenger dragged off plane suffered concussion, broken nose, lost two front teeth
"For a long time airlines, United in particular, have bullied us. They have treated us less than maybe we deserve," said Thomas Demetrio, attorney for David Dao. Video of Dao being forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight Sunday caused a global uproar. "(We're going to) get the facts and get them out and we're going to be vocal about the whole subject about what we as a society say passengers are entitled to," Demetrio added. Dao's daughter, Crystal Pepper, also spoke at the press conference Thursday, saying the family was "Horrified and shocked and sickened to learn what had happened to him and see what had happened to him." Now why does this not surprise me that a lawyer is representing him in a law suit leveled at United airlines. I think the practice of over booking flights will be soon something in the past. With the amount of people wanting to fly standby increasing so if people do not show up they can get on a flight. I do think that over booking should be gone.
