Easter at the White House
I was watching a CNN report showing Easter celebrations at the White House using colorful eggs for races, booths to write troops and other material surrounding the celebration. What was surprising was hardly anyone was there. Just a few families here and there in some of the activities. Have you ever been to the White House for this activity?
JB,
For this year, it may be the weather here isn't the best. We have showers moving in and out. The kids are off from school in most of Northern VA, so that isn't an issue for a large portion of the kids. I don't know about Southern MD. It may also be the unpopularity of our current president, especially in this part of VA.
The crowds increased later on nearer to when the first family were due to officially open it. By the way did you notice that bunny next to the president when he was speaking? Did you know that Sean Spicer used to do that in the past for other presidents? *laugh*.
