In the past, communism is the one that pretty much overrides any non-communist views, despite socialism is still present in Cuba. Although just yesterday there is a massive poll based on the public deciding on a new constitution. If done, Cuba will become like a lot of countries - Have a prime minister, a president that can have two five year terms, protection of private property, etc.
