William S. Klug Murder Case
Professor killed in UCLA murder-suicide
A murder-suicide inside an engineering building at UCLA left two men dead yesterday. Sources identified the victim as William S. Klug, 39, an associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering. He was described as both brilliant and kind by colleagues. Ref. Source 2w.

Mainak Sarkar has been named as the shooter. There is an image circulating around with an alleged message from Mainak Sarkar saying that Dr. Klug stole his code and gave it to another student. I don't know if there was more to it than that but seems they had a close relationship at some point. He also killed another woman as part of a hit list police found at his home.
