The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

The storyline is generally the same as the other Mummy movies, but you keep coming back for more - why? I guess it is all that happens in between, you just want to see how it all plays out. This movie was probably good because Jet Li was in it. I'm not sure if it would have been as good without him. There was some good comedy inside the film that keeps you laughing now and again, in fact I have never seen a movie where all the guys get kicked in the nuts. My son, eight, did not find it scary, but your little one might if they get spooked easily. I give it 2 :bluestar: as I cannot say I was not entertained.

Emperor Dragon The Tomb Mummy The

I found the movie to be entertaining but the one thing I could not quite grasp is the son. He looked a little too old to be the son of the main characters from the first two movies. I think otherwise the movie was pretty good. I hope they do not try doing another mummy movie.

I will give it 1.5 stars, I was not all that impressed by this one.

The thought about the age difference between father and son also crossed my mind, however some people start earlier than others and he may have been an 'accident' considering the lack of father / son relationship. All of this purely hypothetical as I am not the author of it all, but it is good to wonder. One thing I did appreciate was the fact that the woman (sorceress) also lasted through the centuries, but was not a mummy and was able to also work magics.
